5/31/07 Jeff Johnson class of 2004 - graduated last Saturday from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. and will be attending Ohio State University in the Fall pursuing a Masters Degree in Sports Management. This summer he was offered a Baseball Operations internship with Ripken Baseball in Aberdeen, MD and will begin working there later this month. He wants to pursue a career in baseball operations/management somewhere in professional baseball.

 He played varsity baseball for UMW this year (DH & Outfield) and finished with a batting average of .452 leading all batters in the Capital Athletic Conference. He also ended up with a .500 OB% and .661 SLG% so once given the opportunity to play on a regular basis he kept up where he left off at SHS.

11/19/07 David Webster - class of 2003 - is a National Champion.

After spending half of last fall volunteering and making a big impact with the Men's cross country team, David Webster transferred to Div II Texas Abilene Christian. On Saturday, David was the number 7 runner on their team that captured the Div II National Cross Country Championship.

8/17/07 - Mackenzie Clark (2002) played 4 years of Cougar Lacrosse (while attending BYU). She was captain her senior year, and was awarded All-American her junior and senior years, as well as Offensive Player of the Year in the USL-WDIA league in her senior year.

3/8/2005 Rafael Roberti (2004)

Rafeal Roberti is playing singles for the Johns Hopkins University Tennis Team this Spring.

2/8/05 Jeff Johnson (2004)

Jeff is in his second semester at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. He made the Fall Baseball Team. As a freshman, Jeff expects some stiff competition for a spot in the outfield on a team that has sported consecutive 30 win seasons.

Max Tcheyan is playing Lacrosse at Haverford College. He scord two goals in his first game. He is one of the top scoring Freshmen in the Centennial Conference.

3/11/04 Liz gamble -2003

Freshman Liz Gamble is playing Lacrosse for Harvard University. In her first game for The Crimson she scored a hat trick.

3/10/04 Tony Johnson -2003

Freshman Tony Johnson is playing Division I-AA football for Hampton University . As a freshman he was 3rd on the Quarterback depth chart and is also a wide receiver.

Freshman Alex Sprinzen is attending NYU and has made the cut to play on NYU's JV squad.

Keith Schroeder is completing his sophomore year on Georgetown's Lacrosse team.

3/11/04 Matt Starker - 2002

Sophomore Matt Starker, Summit High School's leading scorer, is playing Lacrosse at Villanova. The mid-fielder started this season with seven goals in his opening three games.

6/13/2004 Kim Gianis - 2001

Kim Gianis of Vanderbilt was in the Final Four and played against Liza Hillenbrand of Princeton. Kim garnered second team ALC honors

5/19/04 Arlo Faria - 2001

Arlo Faria will play at the Ultimate Players Association (UPA) college national championships in Seattle, Washington on Memorial Day weekend. He plays for the University of California at Berkeley, which recently beat Stanford 15 to 11 to win the Northwest regionals.

4/10/04 Mike Sartorious -2001

3/15/04 Rob Messner -2001

Rob Messner begins his third season as a starting varsity lacrosse defenseman for the Red Hawks of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

3/11/04 Ryan Clark - 2001

Ryan Clark has continued his Lacrosse career with the University of Michigan Lacrosse Club. He had a goal and 6 assists (a club record) in the opening game of the season.

Rachel Krom, playing for Johns Hopkins, saw action in the 2004 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament.

Rachel Krom ( Class of 2000) is a senior at Johns Hopkins University. In a vote by teammates, Krom, a senior defender, was selected as one of two Lacrosse captains.

Last season, the Blue Jays finished 11-5 overall and 4-2 in the conference. Krom started all 16 games, leading a defense that ranked 10th nationally with 7.81 goals allowed per game. Krom, who recorded 33 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and five draw controls, scored her first career point on an assist in a 15-4 win over George Washington. She collected a career-high nine ground balls in an 8-4 victory over Penn.

"Rachel brings a ton of energy and enthusiasm to each and every practice and game, and her team mates feed off of that," Head Coach Janine Tucker said. "I am thrilled that she was voted a team captain."

2/29/04 Ned Britt -2000

Senior midfielder Ned Britt (Class of 2000) of Yale was named to the second team of Inside Lacrosse's preseason All-America squad.

The second-leading scorer for the Elis last spring, Britt tallied 29 goals and 10 assists in being named first-team all-Ivy League in 2003. Yale starts the year ranked 22nd in the nation.

Class of 1999

6/13/2004 Liza Hillenbrand -1999

Liza Hillenbrand was a 2004 NCAA Lacrosse finalist and ended her career as a 2 time NCAAchampion. Liza earned Honorable Mention All Ivy honors.

4/14/2004 Lee Starker - 1999

Lee Starker played four years of Lacrosse at Union College and was captain his senior year.

3/15/04 Liza Hillenbrand -1999

Senior Liza Hillenbrand is starting for the Princeton lacrosse team. Princeton is a 2 time NCAA national champion.

2/29/04 Cristina Curiale - 1999

Cristina Curiale (Class of 1999), a senior attacker who is a pre-season All-Big East selection, led the team and finished eighth in the conference in scoring last season with 37 points. She scored 11 goals, while registering a team-high 26 assists, to earn second team, all-conference honors. The attacker finished the season14th nationally in assists per game. She tied for second on RU's single-season assist list, four shy of making it onto the career list.

Rutgers finished last season with a 12-4 mark, its first winning season in four years, and opened They've been picked to finish fourth in the Big East in a vote by the league's coaches. Georgetown, the defending conference champ, was picked to win the title for the third consecutive season.

Class of 1981

6/3/04 Owen Dunne - 1981

I'm 3 miles into PA - right next to Lafayette College( Forks Twsp, PA) My wife and I Have twin Girls who will turn 6 next week, and we have started a youth Lacrosse Program out here last year -I coach the 5th and 6th Graders and we end our season next week. Life is pretty busy, but kids are great. I really appreciate where I grew up and all the teachers along the way.
